Edwin Bosso is the founder, CEO and senior partner of Myrtle Consulting Group LLC. He has had the privilege of trotting the world growing up and has lived in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Ivory Coast, France, Burkina Faso and the Netherlands. Golden Brooks  

Golden Brooks is an American actress. She began her career with starring role in the Showtime comedy series, Linc’s (1998–2000), and later has appeared in films Timecode (2000) and Impostor (2001). From 2000 to 2008, Brooks starred as Maya Wilkes in the UPN/The CW hit comedy series, Girlfriends for which she received two NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series nominations. She also has appeared in films Motives (2004), Beauty Shop (2005), and Something New (2006).

Al Rucker is the owner of Midtown Bail Bonds, which has multiple locations spread across Harris and Fort Bend counties. He is the true rags-to-riches story, growing up in the foster care system, and showing how true determination can turn someone’s life around. He is the epitome of a Black man who did not take “No” for an answer, and he GIVES BACK… going above and beyond to help underprivileged children and their families. In addition to Midtown Bail Bonds, he has a passion for pop culture, social activism and speaking, and launched the Al Rucker Live Show, which is on Amazing 102.5 FM. Also — not stopping — he ventured out to open up his own hot spot, Dolce Ultra Lounge and Bistro, in the Cypress area. Derrick Rideaux is a Regional Program Consultant for Wells Fargo At Work in Southwest Houston. In his role, Rideaux provides financial education to local businesses, community-based organizations, universities, and schools. For more than 12 years, he has served in the financial services industry— specializing in building long-term relationships and delivering excellent customer experience. He began his career as a teller at JP Morgan Chase in 2007 and exceled to other positions, such as relationship and personal banker before joining Wells Fargo in 2010. Rideaux earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pennsylvania State University.

From comedy, to a multi-store business, to teaching and mentoring youth, Marcus Bowers stays busy.  He now has seven She’s Happy Hair stores open all across the nation. Yes, Marcus sells hair and he will make you laugh about it. Marcus is definitely dedicated to his work and he says, “if you can think it, you can do it .. the innovational people are leading the way.” He admits, he has grown tremendously since enlisting into the military and graduating college shortly after.  He unconsciously serves the community and enjoys making everyone happy.  Danny Norris 225x225 (2) Danyahel “Danny” Norris is the Principal Partner of Norris & Norris, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, which specializes in providing intellectual property law and other transactional legal services to individuals, small businesses, and other entities.  Along with lecturing for various organizations, he currently serves as the Associate Director of the Law Library and Instructor of Legal Research, at Thurgood Marshall School of Law where he received a faculty appreciation award in 2011. Mr. Norris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.  Mr. Norris has published several articles on a variety of topics covering both international and domestic issues. Mr. Norris is active in the local bar community, where he is a past President of the Houston Lawyers Association and a member of the Houston Bar Association. He is also involved in the state-wide bar community, where he is currently serving as President of the African-American Lawyers Section for the State Bar of Texas.
