HOUSTON’S LANDMARK EVENT REVEALS CELEBRITY LINEUP FOR 2016 SUMMER CELEBRATION
Texas Black Expo Celebrates 13 Years with Appearances by LeToya Luckett, Case, Force M.D.’s, Chubb Rock, Stephen Bishop, Carl Anthony Payne, Amber Holcomb and more
Houston, Texas – March 24, 2016 – Texas Black Expo, Inc. (TBE), producers of the largest African American tradeshow and festival in the south, announced the celebrity lineup for its 2016 Summer Celebration. The event will be held from May 12th through 15th in Houston.
The 4-day event will feature appearances and performances by LeToya Luckett, Case, Force M.D.’s, Chubb Rock, Stephen Bishop, Carl Anthony Payne, Amber Holcomb others. With 20,000 people from Texas and surrounding areas attending each year, TBE has launched the 2016 show schedule along with tickets and travel info via texasblackexpo.com.
“As a Houston native, I’m excited to be a part of this annual event,” says LeToya. “I’m looking forward to speaking on the Diva Dialogue panel with some amazing women and connecting with fans.”
This year’s celebration marks 13 years of TBE’s continued efforts to stimulate growth and development within urban communities by strengthening businesses, inspiring youth, and building better lives. In addition to a lineup of top celebrity entertainers and concert performances, Summer Celebration also includes lively panel discussions, business development seminars, health and wellness exhibits, hair shows and more.

On Friday, May 13th, music enthusiasts and social tastemakers will gather at House of Blues for the Feel Good Friday Party & Comedy Show with comedian Billy Sorrells. On Saturday, May 14th, attendees can join singer-songwriter LeToya Luckett, Amber Holcomb from American Idol Season 12 and others for a lively panel discussion on some of the hottest topics impacting today’s modern woman. The Old School Hip Hop and R&B Concert will also take place on Saturday with performances by Force M.D.’s, Case and Chubb Rock.
