16th Annual Summer Celebration
TBE Summer Celebration 2019 welcomes companies who are interested in networking and marketing their products.



Exhibit space is for both days June 8 and June 9 and includes: One 10 by 10 exhibit space, 2 chairs, a 10 foot skirted table, ID sign and trash can.
For the past 15 years, Texas Black Expo has hosted Summer Celebration – the largest minority business expo and festival in the south. The annual event attracts thousands of attendees from Texas and surrounding areas as well as over 200 vendors and scores of corporate sponsors. The 4-day experience includes a lineup of top celebrity entertainers, influential speakers, business development seminars, health and wellness exhibits, beauty demos, women’s forums, concert performances and more.

Consumer Show
George R. Brown Convention Center serves as the hub for thousands of people. Attendees get to shop products from local businesses, test the latest technologies as well as attend empowerment seminars, live concerts and hair shows. All day attraction and activities for kids make this event fun for the entire family.

With over 30 participating universities and colleges, informational workshops and scholarship giveaways, this has become a high-traffic component of the Expo.
Aspire Youth Entrepreneurs Camp
This 2-week intensive summer program, leading up to our annual Summer Celebration, introduces teens to entrepreneurship through project-based learning, hands-on training, leadership development and exposure to business opportunities. Students participate in a business plan competition and get the opportunity to work with executives through our strategic business sponsors. Winners will be honored at a camp graduation pep rally during the Expo.
The Naturalista Symposium
Natural hair influencers and industry experts host a weekend of meet-ups, hair clinics, seminars and product demos, exclusively designed for women who practice chemical-free and natural haircare.
Diva Dialogue
This women’s empowerment seminar features high profile women in business and entertainment. Attendees get the opportunity to discuss topics impacting today’s modern woman.
Old School Concert
Guests from Texas and surrounding areas gather under – the stars for an evening of musical entertainment by some of their favorite old-school hip-hop and R&B artists.
